Multi-Purpose Topsoil

At A R Richards we produce our own Grade A Multi-Purpose Topsoil which is certified to British Standard BS3882:2015 screened to 10mm down. As manufactured Topsoil it is a mix of organic matter, and mineral matter and is perfect for a wide range of landscaping projects.

All our topsoil is stored indoors at Warrant Hangar to preserve the product’s quality all year round.

Our screened Multi Purpose Grade A Topsoil is available for delivery or collection Bulk Bags

Our 800kg bulk bags of screened topsoil can be used for gardening, planting beds, and general landscaping. It can be used to raise ground levels and improve soil quality.

As a general rule, each bulk bag of screened topsoil can cover an area of 30m² to around 1″ deep.

For larger projects our Grade A Multi Purpose Topsoil is available by the tonne as a loose product. Can deliver up to 28 tonne.

Delivery is available in Tipper loads of up to 20 tonne and Artic Lorries of up to 28 tonne across Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. Contact the team today to confirm availability. We operate across the UK with our fleet of vehicles which run 6 days a week.

Collection is available from Warrant Hangar TF9 2JH. We are able to load vehicles with loading shovels on site and all vehicles will be weighed out on our weighbridge on site.

Topsoil is the upper, outermost layer of soil, and is the most important component of most landscape projects. It can be used for making new beds, borders, raised beds or as a base for lawns, where the natural soil is poor or non-existent.
Our Grade A Topsoil is screened to 10mm, making it easy to handle and ensuring it rakes out to a smooth, even tilth. A perfect base for for turf.
