Following the delivery of our 4 new tractor units and the charities they are proudly promoting – we thought we should give you a bit of background to each charity and why they are so close to our hearts.

So, each week we are bringing you ‘Charity Spotlight’, starting this week with…….

Hope House

Hope House believe that no one should face the death of a child alone. The hospices are a centre of excellence for children’s palliative care ensuring every family facing the death of a child gets the very best care and support when and where they need it.

Hope House was founded in 1991 following the sad death of Caroline and Roger Peachey’s third child Hope. During this sad time, they appreciated the support of a children’s hospice to families struggling to care for a seriously ill child. By 1993 they had raised enough funds to start building and they by 1995 they opened their doors for the first children.

In the first full year of opening Hope House supported 80 families, now they support 750 families.

This amazing children’s charity has been supported by the ‘Ravens’ at Market Drayton Rugby Club for a while and when Andrew Richards (Chairman of the Rugby Club) saw what a brilliant job Hope House does and the importance of fundraising to them, he decided to make it one of A.R.Richards main charities.
