Hope House Visit

Last week, Chloe, Lucy, Louise, and Harrison visited Hope House Hospice for their open day, to see where the money we raise goes to. We have been supporting hope house for several years now, as we wanted to give back to our community.

Hope House Children’s Hospices provide specialist nursing care and support to more than 750 children aged 0 to 25 years, and their families, who live in Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

Their dedicated teams support families from diagnosis, throughout the lifetime of their child and beyond. At the end of a child’s life, they are there to make sure their final moments are as comfortable as possible and that their family says goodbye in their own way and in their own time.

They are also there to comfort families and offer bereavement support, whether they’ve cared for their child during their illness, or they have turned to them after their child’s sudden death through any circumstances at all.

We give a financial contribution to both Hope House Tŷ Gobaith and Midlands Air Ambulance with the funds collected from every bin lift and the residual value of waste recycled, with additional fundraising carrying on throughout the year with numerous events.
